Z Ziggy Senior Retro Guru May 14, 2009 #4 I've been looking for one for months too, so if there's more than one going...! mtbfix":1z85th1f said: The above sounds ideal but if not we may have an NOS model. M mtbfix Senior Retro Guru Feedback View May 14, 2009 #5 I use 105/Ultegra Octa BBs on my M950 cranks. Have done for years since I realised the ease of sourcing the parts and price knocked XTR into a cocked hat. I also have one each of 112mm and 116mm in the proper XTR format, in their (tatty) boxes.

Z Ziggy Senior Retro Guru May 15, 2009 #6 Excellent. I always thought it was just DA which are no cheaper! Which length do you use? I reckon the 109.5 should be ideal for a single chainring Unless either of the XTR ones yourself & Boxxer have are available for less...

M mtbfix Senior Retro Guru Feedback View May 15, 2009 #7 I use the 109mm length for my SS. I could do one of our XTR for £30 but you can probably find road BBs for less.
