Well....my 'build another bike for fun' project has taken another turn last night as I bought a smaller M2...which means a re-think. Jeez I'm super skint now....just can't make my mind up.

The wheels I have a def. no longer required.

I also have a set of XTR V brakes...952 I think...OK condition..well, better than OK but not what I would call very good.
I'll get some pictures later.
£40 UK Posted

Also a gold 1998 steel Stumpjumper frame and forks (and seatpost and saddle). This was pretty rough when I got it but have spent a few hours with Mr T and some polish. It's come up OK, but its no garage queen. (Help me out Pete...you've seen it :) )
New S8 Cane Creek headset just fitted (but the race needs taping down a couple of mill ).
Pictures up later
Oh...was described as 19 but I'm sure it measured 18 centre to top.
£100 UK Posted SOLD

Anyway...the wheels
M950 XTR Hubbed Wheelset
M950 hubs laced with silver spokes to black Mavic X517 rims.
Including XTR Skewers
Bearings perfect...straight and true.
Brake surface with some wear (more to rear ) but still heaps of mileage left.
Nice wheels...the only thing 'wrong' is the peeling stickers...I would just de-sticker them. Built by Dave Hinde if anyone gives a tinkers curse.
Need a bit of a clean...oopps
£106.99 UK Posted SOLD

I'm sure you don't particularly want to split the wheels, but on the off chance someone reads this and would love the front wheel, I'd take the rear.

You never know Dave

Pictures now available.

Maybe I am being a little harsh on the Stumpjumper...it has it fair share of nicks and cable rub. There is a tiny ding in the top tube and that round sticker is covering a bad scratch. The chain rub by the crank is quite bad....but there you have it. I bought it for a winter hack/pub bike...its probably better than that...its not a rat, but its no queen either.
£100 UK Posted frame and forks and new S8 Stainless bearings headset...bargain I would say.

First shout to Ran

V brakes are in OK condition...the previous owner clearly wasn't to keen on maintenance. But hey....the price is right. Two sets of blocks included. One-piece kool-stops...part worn and one set of shoes with very worn pads.
£40 UK Posted! I must be mad....call the nurse!
First shout to bobo.

Stympy/XTR wheels

Carl,

What can you do the pair for - bank transfer - I can arrange the carriage if you box it. Not in a big rush, nearly up to 20 bikes at the mo.

I used to own the year befores frame in dark green. Best wheelie bike ever, won races on it too!

I used to be good, me (he says looking at his stomach now)

Cheers,

Nik

Hi Nik
Can't drop prices on these....think they are a good price already. Frame is £100 posted....so deduct £6.99
Wheels £100
I can box no problem....just need a wee bit of time. Bank transfer fine as well.
Cheers
Carl

Go on then. But if a full bike goes for £130 on ebay next week I reserve the right to complain loudly and kick the skirting board.

Mail me your bank details to nikheathman AT hotmail.co.uk and I'll sort a payment this evening.

Cheers,

Nik
