Wanted for a dream build - Shimano XTR M900 28H rear and 28H front hub in good condition with logos intact.

Hey Retrobike crew!
Still looking for a nice condition M900 rear hub in 28 hole for a super lightweight 10th Anniversary Fat Chance build! Can anyone help me out?

If you're going super lightweight you don't want XTR rear hubs, unless your going Ti axle and switching out the freehub for the M950 Ti one.
They're pretty heavy hubs.

Hey FluffyChicken,

You are right, though I want to keep with the M900 theme and reliable! So super light by Shimano standards! :)

I understand 28 hole M900 really became available in model year 1993. So this will be a small compromise, as I want to be faithful to the frames 1992 model year.

Sorry - I made a mistake on the wheel - the XTR hub was on the 32h wheel.
Hey 7Speed,
Thank you for checking - greatly appreciated indeed!

Please do cast out the word with Retrobike friends of this 28 hole M900 rear hub search! :)

The FH-M900 28 hole hub search continues, and now with more need than before!!
Since a pair of NOS Mavic 231 CD 28H rims arrived today, thanks to a very kind retrobike community member :)
