I see this quite often. Seller will inflate the shipping cost to make a bit of money without ebay taking a percentage. Ebay only takes their cut from the sale price, not the shipping cost.

He doesn't have a reserve, and it has started at .99, so might still be a bargain, unless he's doing another little thing to increase profits- shill bidding.

It's been shown time and time again that a low P&P attracts a higher bid in the end and as it doesn't put people off.
Even if it cost the same in the end overall to the customer.

I see it more that people think it's a cheap way to get a 99p start but actually a £20 mimimum bid, I'll go by my 'he'll more than likely get less in the end' :twisted:
