What is this stem made from? I've seen similar stems made from Ti in the past. And No, this is not a wind up as per your cunning thread title. Basically if its Ti, I'm interested.

I saw it at a bike jumble and bought it as I thought it was Ti. In fact, last night as I took pictures to sell it I had to check again it wasn't Ti! It's definately magnetic. Where paint has chipped off (and inside the clamps) there is no rust of even a hint of corrosion.
It's 1" steerer too.

interesting, thanks. Unfortunately 1" steerer means I'll have to pass anyway but it does look a nice stem.

Oh well......will make do with the steel ones for £40.
