Last night my club ran a retro 10 mile TT, this lovely original Hetchins took part.

That's a gorgeous machine. Having said that, I think the whole Hetchins / Ephgrave thing is a little over-blown. This example would make me proud to own, but no more than a pristine Carlton, Holdsworth etc. etc. I don't fully appreciate why people put them in a different league.
 
This example was owned from new by the riders father, it is original and never restored. I have the same feeling for all makes of similar quality and condition.
 
Nice! Not so long ago my mate paid £700 for a Hetchins frameset and it didn't have any chrome or curly stuff! :roll:

I agree, and further more they aren't.
