Ah the 80's good times eh? Well it was even better if you was riding the height of fashion; a Flouro painted bike!!!
Ok I've never been very good with sales pitch....
This bike is 58.5cm c-t (23") by 55.5cm c-c . I'm not sure what the frame is, not high end probably more like 501 quality although it could be better, the great thing about it is the aero tubing on the top and downtube, very interesting. The fork crown is also of an aero type. It all just makes for a very different looking steel bike.
I'm not sure if the paint is original either, if it is a respray it has been done to a very good standard (hence why I can't tell if it's original)
Components are:
Headset: Ofmega
Stem: SR
Handlebar: SR
Bar Tape: Prologo
Brake Levers/Brifters: - Shimano Exage
Brake Calipers: Shimano Adamas aero
Shifters: Shimano Adamas
Front Derailleur: Shimano 500
Rear Derailleur: Shimano 500
Cranks: SR Custom
Chainrings: 42, 52
Bottom Bracket: Sealed
Pedals: SR Quill (no clips)
Rims: Wolber GTA2
Hubs: Shimano
Tyres: Blue Schwable 23c
Saddle: - Turbo - Bernard Hinault - tatty
Seatpost: SR
Weight: 11KG
A decent solid spec which combine very well. The brakes are very interesting and in very good condition. The one problem is that the rear mech will not go onto the smallest sprocket, it does in the stand but not on the road....
The bike rides really well and obviously stands out as something unique and different, certainly a talking point where ever I took it.
I'd like £150 + £10 postage
