...in mine rear tyre! :x
main.php

Resulting in need of not only new tube, but tyre also!
Only luck that tyre was worn! :)

Brings question what was weirdest puncture You got?

I use tek-screws from time to time at work, I'd recognise one no problem.

it's a 10mm head you say? then it should be of some use to you, usually the only bolts with that head on a MTB are 10mm size anyway.

where do you think you picked it up from? I'll bet it was from your own garage  it's happened to me before

On tarmac street. Suddenly I heard and feel that I have maybe small stone stick to rear tyre and when I stoped I saw this bolts head. I manage to ride with it few hundred meters until rear was out of pressure. Tube was so destroyed that I must use 3 patches!
Worse side was towards rim! (2 patches)
How much I thought about that replacement tube I left home in another backpack! :x

I had 2 flats on the passenger side of my car and the recovery bloke wanted to tow me from harlesden to harrow in London (about 10 miles)
when I queried his sanity his quote "it should be ok if I stay below 40"
needless to say another recovery driver was dispatched to my rescue when I informed the rac of the drivers suggestion.

i came to a stop halfway down a run in north warwickshire, rear wheel locked by a stick/small branch through tyre and tube running in the same plane as the wheel and jammed into the seatstay area......a carlsberg puncture if ever i saw one!.... :D

Maybe he was tyre dealer...(If such ride destroys only tyres and not other parts on deflated side) I wouldn't risk it even If he had thought km/h.
