Yup, that's fishy! Wrong decal on the top tube. I raced a Obeed in the early 90's and always hated the rivited cable stops. It's a cheep solution in more way's than one and should impact the 2'nd hand price. The tubes were specified as "sports grade" witch I think mean they had not been x-rayed.

If I bought that frame which is almost certainly an obed (rather than ocoee - which you know) I'd be pretty p*ssed off.

Nothing fishy. Have a look at the threads on the frame. Decals are new (probably 3rd generation). The ones I took off were shot.

Original decal marks were visible underneath, as is the Lynskey sig.

Identifying the frame model has been a moot point, but I've got no probs with it being an Obed, as it is still a superb frame, in superb nick.

Is the Obed THAT bad then?
