riding my modern MTB in wales this weekend, I realised just how terrible indexed shifting is for front mechs, so I'm looking to replace my left shifter with friction thumb shifter for simplicity.
So has anyone got a spare left hand thumb-shifter, preferably more similar to the newer microshift types looks wise, compared to the older shimano style? - not too bothered about condition, just needs to be functional so I can try out to see if I get on with thumbys
