Lease hold property need carpets ???

Just wondering if it is a reqiurement of leasehold properties to have carpets if say it is a maisonette above another property......for soundproofing etc ???

It tends to be in the deeds if there is a requirement. Mine says I cannot teach music on the premises or keep pigs.
