later model Kona Explosifs???

Hey all,

I'm sizing up a 2003 steel kona explosif and am just a bit put off by lots of talk that they went downhill after 1999.

Any opinions on what went wrong? Is the geometry messed about with after 1999 (e.g. to take a longer fork with 460mm a-c or something), or is this about tubesets and weld quality and what-not??

Your thoughts much appreciated as usual!!

Thanks for the heads up Ernie,

I've decided on a 'used' 2010 Voodoo Wanga instead as the explosif was a bit rich for me at £175 frame only (nice condition though...).

Seems a lot of people have a lot of fun on these.

No jokes about the dangers of 'used wangas' please!
