Last nights tasting...Bordeaux

Attended a bit of an impromptu tasting last night...some rather nice Bordeaux
Star of the night for me was the 1970 Leoville Las Cases closely followed the 76 Latour.
Most disappointing had to be the 94 Lynch Bages....and thats three different vintages I have had from the Chateau...none of them any good.....oh and the 98 La Croix du Gay was a bit off form too.
Several others and finished with 02 Rieussec sauternes.
Overall not a bad evening :roll:

Ah well I had a lovely cup of tea today, brewed magnificently and made with a cheeky hint of milk, mmmmm.

Dunno...I wasn't paying Well I popped a few quid in the pot.
1970 Las Case about £120 bottle
1976 Latour about £150...both bargains.....OK, not quite in your 3 for £10er deal but for their age and performance....stunning.
