Hi all - this is my first time up on the Forum and I've joined really just to offer this for sale as I get a bit sick of the idiot Ebay community.
I bought this recently, the wife went mad, my bank balance crashed etc etc
18" 1997 Lava Dome in a condition I was amazed at; very authentic when checked against the 1997 brochure. I've added the flat bars because the risers on it were awful but clearly it could do with some Kona bars from the time, it has no rear hanger for canti's unlike the brochure so maybe a late model.
All in all the frame is stunning, one paint chip of note on the top tube.
Original recently re-trued, mint wheels Mavic 238 on STX rear hub, Kona front, Hope QR's
All original and excellent condition Shimano LX rear mech, SRAM Gripshift 400 7 speed (perfect changing), STX front mech, mint chainset but with 42T Middleburn outer
XT v brake rear, Deore on front, stunning red DX levers
Kona seat pin and clamp from 1997, red Ti flite in good condition, original stem I think.
Pedals not included.
Price: £325 plus £25 for Parcel Force to tear the box and bash it about in transit (or PM me with your thoughts.) You can also collect and I'll deliver for an agreed mileage rate in the north of England.
