I have a Kona Koa bike that I'm looking to move on. It was bought with the intention of refurbishing, but plans never quite came to fruition, so it's time to pass it on to someone who can give it the care it deserves. I'll stand corrected, but I think it is 1996 or thereabouts. It's a medium frame with 26" wheels. I used it as a commute bike, so some of the components are not original.
The bike frame is structurally sound. There are patches of flaking paint. I hope the photos show that. There's rusted parts throughout, such as the chain, various bolts and the front derailleur. The back tyre isn't sitting right, but it's not an original. It has Project 2 forks. Various other components include Miranda Elegance v-brakes, Shimano Deore XT rear mech 9 speed, Shimano Altus 3 speed front mech (rusted).
I'll be honest, I have no idea what it is worth. It'll be a project for sure, but a cracking bike once refurbished. Happy to be open to thoughts on price and will amend accordingly.
