agree that those parts looks to be in almost perfect nick

would say, that seller is wrong about the year - would say its from 1996 - maybe he bought it early in 1997

the Koa was the entry level alloy bike (made of 7005 aluminium) not a bad tubeset but not so attractive then Easton Elite, which was the tubeset of the higher level alloy bikes of that years Kona collection - never the less a nice bike, but price is a little bit steep for what you get.

Yes, same frame as the Muni Mula, and c10% heavier than the AA/Kula, which were made with Easton Program Elite in 96.

The strange (to me) specification choice on the Koa was the plain gauge Project 2 Sport, which makes it quite a hard nut bike. For me, a triple-butted P2 would make it a nicer bike.

I would say it's worth a little more than the opening bid.
