Firstly, thank you once again to Al for outing this on e-bay.

Good call from Canuck who pointed out that this little baby was MountainBiking Magazine's bike of the year for '93. 8)

I got the train this morning from Thatcham in Berkshire to Worcester and met up with the seller – a really nice guy who bought the bike to the station for the Pick Up Only sale.

I bought some pedals with me, which it fitted on the train, adjusted the seating, the bars and controls – so what you see below is still W.I.P…… or simply change the tyres now, as it would also be known!

I got a bit of a feel for it on the ride home from the station – I’m lovin’ it already.

Please take note that I just grabbed the last bit of daylight after getting home. These first picture are not great quality of the more or less “As seen” on e-bay.

Nice bikes, got one myself, which came with all orginalspec sort from tyres, my girlfriend uses it now, but you've got a quality bike there!

Re:

Excellent bike,it certainly looks in fantastic condition and all original spec. I had one for a bit there really quick and nimble handling bikes.

Very nice :xmas-cool:
This was the very first of many kona's I have owned over the years, don't think mine looked that clean even back in the '90s  Still one of the best riding frames I've ever had. :xmas-cool:
