Kona Fire mountain 1993 18"

been my work / hack / pub bike for a good time now, day in day out reliable but its a great lightweight responsive ride. it does have a marks and scratches and someone (not me) ran the seatpost too high at some point creating a small bulge & cracking the paint off. I promptly had it lowered to normal person height and had no probs since, also it does have a dent/flatspot under the toptube at the seatube end. it has never been a problem but its gotta be mentioned. top cap missing so it has an inkeeping onza bung instead. oh and This has the 1" headtube so ooooh a 1" threaded P2.

mix of bits but still a few original parts

XT 7 speed STI shifters, new inner cables
Exage derailleurs and chainset
LX cantilevers with new blocks & new inner cables
original kona tyres
exage hubs
Bonty BX front rim, rear rim replaced at some point for a silver rigida
little wobble in the back but nothing (by my standards) bad
Bonty saddle

I have put £100 collected but I am up for offers, and will consider all seriously so don't be shy.

This does ride lovely kids

Re:

Have a bump for a bargain :)
They might not be a Cindercone or Exsplosif but they still ride really well, it's all down to the geometry

Re:

bumpity, would consider splitting as long as frame/forks/stem/bars/seatpost go first.

Re: Kona fire mountain hack.....£100 collected down to £90

Hi James,

I may consider it, I would love pickup ideally as finding a box and sorting a courier is a bit of a pain.

I will see if I can source a box easily and get a price for you.
