Pedals and stem now sold so frame fork and headset now £150 posted or £160 with Selcof.
Wanted to keep this complete but no takers so I've decided to keep the groupset & wheels and I'm selling the rest - Various options see below
Ok, this came to me via a non-retro mate who'd been offered it to him by a work colleague so I bit his hand off.
I collected it on Friday from it's original owner who bought it "cheap" in 1994 as a NOS model. I gave it a quick clean and a once over and took it out for a blast.
Sadly, however much I try to convince myself otherwise, it is too big for me.
So reluctantly for sale is this 1992 Kona Explosif Pro 19"
I have checked the catalogue: http://www.retrobike.co.uk/gallery2/v/M ... ewsIndex=1 and it is definitely a 19"
The paintwork is metallic black and in good but not brilliant shape with the odd bit of paint missing and in my opinion doesn't warrant redoing.
No dints or cracks and no chain suck.
I will gladly take additional pics if required.
Frame measurements:
Head tube 145mm
Top tube 570 mm actual, 600mm effective (c-c)
Seat tube 435mm (c-c) 505mm (c-t)
Chainstay 425mm (c-c)
Now for sale:
Frame, Project Two forks, headset and seat clamp (no dog collar) - £160 posted
with 130mm 1 1/8" quill Velocity stem (decals peeling but otherwise good) - add £20
with Suntour XC Pro pedals - Add £20
with Selcof 400mm 26.4 layback post with some clamp scars - Add £15 posted
I won't sell individual parts like stem etc until the frame & forks have gone
