Def “custom”, fluted down tube is ‘93 or ‘94, and decals are ‘97 or later.

He does say most of it has been removed and just some small flakes. If it was me I would try a very slightly smaller seat post and seeing how it slides and how far it goes down

But not for a ridiculous price like that, I got a '95 Explosif for about 100 euro some years ago, for that amount of money he'd have to give me the couch and a room in the house

I'm not disagreeing anything, I wouldn't pay anywhere near that for a resprayed Kona Explosif frame That's in reasonable condition at best

For anyone interested, I've got a 1999 Explosif up for £250. Great condition, original paint and no leftover seatpost

The same seller has had a slightly rusty 2000 Kilauea for sale for at least a year, probably a lot longer. I can't see either achieving the price they are listed for.
