Looks enough like one, slightly bi-oval top tube and bulged butted seattube (if you squint and really try to look at it, maybe some imagination needed) of concept tubing spec...
While I could live with the frame so I could identify it in a retrobike meet photo. the forks just do not go
Put some purple anno to clash and it'll be BoTM territory.

It isn't clear what this could be. If it is a Kona, there is no evidence in the pictures that it's an Explosif. If it is a Kona, it is most likely a 91, assuming that the brazed-on seat clamp is original as it most likely is. The rear brake cable stop is non-standard, but that isn't really evidence against it being a Kona, as it could have been brazed on when the repaint was done. However the dropouts are hard to explain - Konas had quite different dropouts until 1994, but they also didn't have this style of seat stay rack eyes after 1992.

So the details aren't really consistent with it being any Kona, unless it had a major reconstruction when it was repainted.

It isn't a 1990 Kona. The serial number says it is a bike made by Fairly late enough in 1990 to be a 1991 model.

This is a 1991 Kona, showing the dropouts with the triangular cutout. I can't see that in the eBay bike, although admittedly the photos are hopeless.
