Kona Explosif 1997 Columbus Max, triple butted Project 2s

My first post and I'm getting rid of a classic...

I thought I'd offer you guys a chance to buy this before it goes on Ebay.

You lot probably know more than me about this frame, but here goes... Top of the range steel Kona frame from 1997. The Columbus Max tubing is beautiful, and gives a more forgiving ride than my Rocky Mountain 853 Blizzard. Repainted by previous owner (originally mustard yellow), also had rear cantilever mount added, all done by Argos Cycles. New repro decals fitted at same time. Ridden 5 times since respray.

Cable routing for rear V-Brake, but canitlever mount has been added so you can choose.
Takes a 27.0mm seat post
V-Brake only

BB threads are perfect, as is mech hanger alignment & threads. Marks to the paint where rear wheel has been fitted, some scuffs to the decals but these can be replaced by www.thecycleshed.co.uk if you want. No rust.

the kona's v-nice but not for me, got a later scandium one. Can you post or pm some pics of the xtr v's and the flite please.

Project 2s, these are the rarer version in triple butted cromo steel (steerer is stamped CM/TB).

Drop-out to crown 410mm
V-Brake only
1 1/8 diameter unthreaded steerer
Steerer cut to 198mm
Star nut fitted
805g on my kitchen scales

Pretty good condition, some scratches and paint chips and a little dint on the lower left leg. Looking for GBP 50 plus GBP 5 UK postage.
