Kona Explosif 1993 size 19 frame - SOLD

I have a 1993 Kona Explosif frame in size 19 for sale. Top tube is 23". Tubing is Tange Prestige Ultimate/Ultrastrong/Concept (with a very nice fluted downtube). The colour is a very dark, almost black, green that sparkles in direct sunshine. I think Kona called this particular colour ’titanium green’. Kona seat post clamp and rear cable stop included, as well as a BB in fair condition.

The frame is in very good condition, no dents or dings, but some light chainsuck and some chips, most of which have been touched up (with a very closely matched nail varnish) after the photos were taken.

I also have a 130 mm Velocity quill stem in silver to go with the frame.

I’d like £160 for frame, BB and stem, or £149 for just the frame and BB delivered to the UK (tracking nr and insurance available).

No I'm 100% sure it's the original paint job.

Have seen this Kona colour before - but very rare I think. A very dark shimmering greeen/black - like Ballachuish Slate reflecting dim sunlight on an early winter morning

V nice.

Yup, it's the original paint

I used Autoglym paint renovator first, then super resin polish. Worked out pretty nicely, even if I say so myself
