The photo was taken yesterday, during a long 115km ride - this is why there are all the lights, bag, mudguards fitted

I've had the bike for 2.5 months now. Every ride proves it's the best bike I've ever had 8)

Nice. That's a good looker.

Without being nosey did you get it at a discount to RRP? I find that Konas are often quite heavily discounted, which makes them decent value for money as they aren't always up to t spec wise at their given RRP.

My modern Kona is brilliant - all the bits that I love about retro Kona's with nice modern forks and discs. What's not to like!

P.S. Nice to see it getting enough use to scuff the decals off the cranks :D

Yes, quite a big discount really! £201 comparing to the RRP. But it was my insurer who paid for it when my '92 Marin got stolen... 8)

They disappeared in the first two weeks of riding ;) But I do quite a lot of miles. Just to say that I'm already finishing the second chain (it has just passed the 0.75% mark yesterday) The original deore got killed in four weeks... Sram 971 seems to be much more durable.
