With some help from some fellow Retrobikers, this has been IDed as a 1994 AA ~ see the thread in this link;

It's an eighteen inch frame thats been stripped by a previous owner and gone a bit dull over time, but will polish up well if you have the elbow grease for it!
Comes with a silver seatpost clamp and silver dog collar cable guide, both the original items. BB threads are fine, all the bottle cage mounts are good. The dropout is straight, but has had a stripped thread repaired at some point. It now has a steel threaded insert properly fixed into place - the repair is good and probably stronger than the original alloy. It doesn't show when the bike is built with a mech in place. Overall, this will build into a good practical mtb, and light too, it only weighs 3lb 12 oz! Collection from east Berkshire would be lovely to save me finding a box, but postage could be done if you're happy to wait a while. £45 if it's collected, £60 posted.
