[Lurch Grammetje]

This bike belonged to a guy who died in a car crash. His brother inhereted it, and had no use for it anymore. But he wanted it to belong to someone who really appreciated the bike, and treat it with respect. I felt very honoured to be allowed to buy it.

The bike was almost original, and I had some parts lying around, not original, but fitting for the era.
It was in quite a bit of a bad state. bearings filled with rusty mud instead of grease, and the frame was cracked near the seat post.
The frame is repaired, not that beautiful, but at least strong.

I'm giving a RS1 an overhaul, to be fitted later.
Any tips where to get pink ROCKSHOX stickers?

Nice bike.. Looks very solid, apart from the crack..

Most people on here source decals via a member that goes by the name of gil_m, he has a business called the cycle shed (also on FB, I believe) and reproduces any decal you can come up with.
Got a couple of nice sets from him as well over the years. Don't know how the new tariffs that BoJo and the EU came up with are going to impact prices, but I guess there's only one way to find out
