Klein suspension seatpost

Prototype only as was the Smart Bar. Although the Smart Bar even made it to the 1993 catalogue, the suspension post didn't survive even that far.

You would not catch my butt within 5 miles of that, its FOUL!!! Worse than Britney Spears with no make up on

There seems to be a beautiful gap just above the klein logo and below the saddle shell that is perfectly bollock shaped! Just imagine going over a steep drop off hanging over the back of your saddle with some of your body weight on the saddle - recipe for disaster (or for castrato singing at least!)

yeah, not really sleak looking...

at least two sets of the Smart Bar and Smart Post still exist, not sure if more than those were made.

I didn't realise the size of the thing until I saw the installed shots!

This seatpost looks horrible on a classic Klein, but could be fine on my futuristic GT LTS Thermoplastic...

Suspension seatpost on a fullsuspesion bike? sounds weird..:)
