KLEIN Pinnacle Elite backfire

Recently I have received a 1991 KLEIN Pinnacle in the beautifull backfire colourscheme.
Bike had been ridden years ago by an old man who didn't use it any more.

Luckely the bike is complete and in allmost original condition. It's with the original Spinner forks, MC1 combo (havent seen the combo with red MC1 before) and complete XT groupset.

The bike hasn't been used for years and thats visible. Lots of dust, dirt and matte colours.

I will strip the bike, clean, polish, grease and lube it, change the tires, cables, headset, saddle and seatpost, put on some new decals and use it as a rider.

Will add new / work in progress pictures later.

Frame weighs: 2000 grams
Forks weighs: 960 grams

Thi should look really nice when you've sorted it mate so i take it you'll be ditching those guards as they just look really wrong imo ..

After lots of cleaning this is where it has ended for the moment.

Changed the sti with some ST-M095, new liners and cables, lots of polishing etc.

Bike has lots of patina which cant bee seen in the pictures. Will keep it the way it is and just ride it. Wil make more pictures next time.
