Welcome, nice looking bike, needs a price on it though as it's in the sale section or it will get locked. good luck!

The frames not very retro either, 2004 - 2006ish.

Would be better off in the 98+ for sale section...

Not a pre trek is what I meant no not a retro build. The Klein name is still there though. Not retro as I said but all new unused.

Gents thanks for the replies

Greeno most of the advice that follows is intended to assist you with your sale and i hope it comes across that way

At first glance to the uninformed the price and condition seem okay, then as you become informed and the reason why I asked for further info... is that you have a trek with klein badges on as was the case after Trek bought out Klein and then removed the artistry and made them cheaply produced. Absolutely nothing wrong with that.....but a comparisson would be trying to sell a modern mini as an original one but still expecting classic money

The price your asking would be in line or in the ball park for an original..as we said yours is a trek...collectors are happy (although their wifes rarely are) to pay that kind of money for an original klein and for Kleins that means the important dates are pre 97 and certianly no later than 99. Again nothing wrong with trekleins as a bike but the money valuations plummet after that97/99 time line

To avoid any possible dissapointment on your sale I can offer two areas within rb that might be of benefit to you

Firstly price...as it is a treklein, my own opinion, as nice as it is ..is that it sits between the £400-£700 mark BUT that is just my opinion and we do have here a section that people can put their bikes in for a best guestimate..as yours is in the 1998 and newer range that help is within this link..... viewtopic.php?f=41&t=140396&start=300

if you get a price your comfortable with or you wish to remain with your expectation then it needs to be listed in the members sales in the 1998 and newer section, the link is here... viewforum.php?f=39

Beyond that, it's a great looking bike and I wish you well with your sale
