Klein attitude USA colours 1996

i do not know for sure,..if i look at the sllersname,..i think i know who is selling it,..he used to own al lot of Kleins in the past,.. and many many parts,..

Martin is right, I first wanted to buy it but wants between 1750-2000 euro's for it.

I advised him to sell it on e-bay.

Only the frame-set is interesting (besides the size) but the parts are horrible !

Yeah I know the seller too... he bought this off marktplaats about a month ago. He said it was too small and was gonna sell it again. But only for the highest possible price he could get. He built it for his wife and it turned out too small.

Got my S-Bike and my Rascal off him too. Nice guy, but I wasn't able to work anything out for the frameset of this bike with him. It's a small (16" ??) size and that would be perfect for my gf.

I didn't like the parts on it either, so yeah only the frameset would be interesting. But since those Germans go crazy over anything that says "retro" or "KLEIN" in the topic (German e-bay is the one e-bay I never bid unless I'm really desperate), I guess he may even sell it too

It´s also build up with v-brakes.
So, frame must been drilled to get housing go thru?

Or is it done like that -96 models?

I am really curious what it is going to sell for since I have the same bike but in a more special build up.
If it is going be much I might want to think about selling although I am not so fond of selling bikes but is it going to make me able to buy something else what I really would like to own.

Neh, he sent me some pics of it before (so last year somewhere, when I showed him how far the S-Bike was built up) and he used some insert into the hole. That's why I was interested in the frameset, because you can easily strip it and just build it up like it should be... with canti's (some cool Onza H.O. brakes or something).

It's a pretty cool bike, I think he's payed around 600 euros for it... so I must say that personally I think it's a bit greedy to be wanting 2000 for it now (but he's convinced it's gonna be worth a lot in the future). For 2000 euro's I'd be riding a completely different KLEIN, though 8)

Yeah, 2000€ definitely way too much for that.
Besides, the paintjob is quite uninteresting and not very popular. If it were a linear fade or Nightstorm, now that would be a different thing...

There are several options.

1) Do it wrong but not drill the frame
2) Klein adapter from a 96 put on earlier frame
3) make your own adapter (see picture)
4) others I can't think of right now

This adapter might run you a few pounds. It's made from parts that I got from bikeToolsEtc, tell them you want the klein adapter and they'll give you the parts you need. More info available if anyone asks.
