hmmm it is nice, the price depends on the dent in the top tube ! get him to post some close up photos of the dent and other parts of the frame, i would hazard a guess that it will go for £900 - £1500 depending upon the dent and any other marks it may have on it ! i might be totally wrong but hey its only my guess, im thinking about bidding £600 for it myself !!

no i thought that, or is he covering something up ? i wonder why there are no photos of the dent ? or any close up pictures of the paint ? could be a good buy though !!

I've e-mailed him and he's sent some photos through. Seems ok, just not quite the condition the initial photos showed. I'd still love it though! But in these times of crazy Klein prices unless the biddings cheap, i'll probably leave alone.

Having said that i'll probably get drunk near the end of the auction and nostalgia'll kick in. That's when I need to worry!

Out of interest, what are the wheels worth? Never liked them but I wonder whether these might bump the price up?

Just to let anybody know who might be interested in this bike, i went to have a look at it tonight and im afraid the "slight dent on top tube but its not bad" was caused by the top tube of the frame being over clamped in a workshop stand.

Its a real shame as the rest of the frame is not to bad, the underside of the top tube has been flattened and there are two small creases on the top of it.

Just thought i let you all know, before there are any large sums of money being placed.

Would you say the dent is just a bad cosmetic flaw, or do you think it'll affect the bike structurally? As I said, thanks for your feedback. I'm thinking of bidding but i'm in Manchester, so i'd be bidding blind otherwise.
