Klein Attitude 1995 in Team Colours

So with a little over a day to go I apparently have 40 people watching my Klein on ebay, but no questions or enquiries.

Are there any Retrobikers watching this one? I'm curious if you are watching to see if it does sell - which I hope it does - but the lack of questions makes me wonder if there are many potential purchasers in those 40 watchers......

As a rule of thumb for when i've sold something divide the no of watchers by 10 and that's the no of people actually interested in it and who'll likely bid. (well it was for my RM and FSR)

If you start with a high opening bid, people will wait (if they are interested). Odds are, you might not make much more than the opener.

If you start with a very low opening bid and no/low reserve, you'll get more people invested in bidding early, and competing with each other.

My two cents....

+1

It's not the lack of bids so much, just the lack of any questions - I know I'd be asking a few question before even thinking of putting a bid in.

I've traded on eBay long enough to know the number of watchers doesn't translate to bidders - just expected some sort of feedback.

As it was a free listing day in eBay I listed the bike for the lowest price I'd be prepared to take - less the fees - hence the high start price.

Thanks for you feeback.

im not sure what to do with this bike, im just not feeling it for some reason. i think its the colour and size and forks. i suppose i could stick some judy sl in but then there aint no mc2 stem.

hummmmm

the days of the big spenders have gone and will go quiet for a time but they will come back..for now most people are strapped for cash when it comes to..hobbies really

I think that sums it up really. I'm not desperate and have thought that the best thing to do is keep it. It's just not getting any use and I don't want a garage queen - bikes are to be ridden, right? Still with three hours to go it might sell, but if not, it stays put and I'll look out for some XTR to upgrade for my personal pleasure - when money isn't quite so tight.......some time in the next century!

my Gator Adroit that ended last night with no bids had 90 watchers, people just love watching Kleins rather than buy them.
