Since my Campagnolo Resto Build, I've had a penchant for restoring Late 80s kit.. Snagging this F&F had sentimental reasoning, the 1988 Marin Palisades Trail was my second MTB back in the day; I bought a second hand one through the local paper for £170..
Although this was intended as a Pub Bike Project, I found that, when I had some time to start the Build, I wanted to build a solid Bike from a solid base.. The Bearing Assemblies on the Marin were in need of attention, and the BB got was first in line yesterday..
Not a Silky Smooth SetUp, but at least one that has a few Quieter Miles in it..
