Right then, I've been trying to get to the dump to ditch this frame for weeks but never made it and it occurs that someone nearby might want it if they are feeling handy with a welder...
18/19inch Kona - believed to be a mid 90s Kileaueu but never confirmed as at some point in its past the dropouts were chopped of and had track ends fitted and repainted.
when the dropouts were done they obviously moved the cable stops for rear brake and removed un-needed ones...and there are cracks propagating from the cable stops on the top tube. I honest;y dont know if they are into the tube, or just cracks in the brass from where they were tacked on.
also has a crack about 1-1.5 inch long in rear of seat tube about half way down, presumably from the bottom a statpost causing stress, bizarrely its radial, as in round the tube rather than along it. this one never got any bigger in the 4 years i owned it so it never bothered me.
also has a XTR m952 BB fitted (still smoothish) and a pair of M952 cranks (no spider) the splines on one of the cranks are a bit worn so you can feel a tiny bit of movement round the axle, but i rode with them liek that for 4 years and they never got any looser.
so...basically what im saying is, if any one wants it they're free to come and pick it up, I won't post it and im loathe to bother taking pics but if you are local and want to come inspect/take it away then PM me...
