NOW GIVEN AWAY

I recently won an auction on the official police auction website - www.bumblebeeauctions.co.uk

PLEASE BEAR IN MIND THAT THESE ITEMS ARE OFF A POLICE AUCTION WEBSITE, SO AT SOME POINT HAVE EITHER BEEN LOST OR STOLEN, AND THEN SUBSEQUENTLY NOT CLAIMED BY THEIR OWNER. ITEMS THAT ARE NOT CLAIMED AFTER A CERTAIN PERIOD OF TIME ARE SOLD AT AUCTION BY THE POLICE. IF THEY ARE NOT BOUGHT, THEY ARE THEN DESTROYED..

I thought I'd clear that up first and foremost!

If you have any comments or opinions about the morality of purchasing items from a police auction website, please feel free to keep them to yourself as I've done nothing wrong, I have purchased the items from the police, and have the police receipt for everything.

Everything in the picture below is being given away, with the exception of the forks etc on the right hand side (these will be sold seperately). Bits include:

1 x 18" Carrera Vulcan Frame in red.
1 x 18" Claud Butler "Rock" frame, in grey/silver.
1 x Threadless Headset
2 x sets of forks
1 x pair of red pedals
1 x set of cranks
2 x Front Mechs
1 x Rear Mech (possibly)
1 x set of handlebars
1 x stem
2 x shifters
2 x brake levers
2 x tyres (possibly)

I can't vouch for their condition at the moment, as they're currently in a Yodel van on their way to me! However I don't really want them hanging around, so I thought I'd put a post up ASAP.

I'll supply the police receipt for everything, so you can be assured that everything is above board! :)

Bits are all boxed up and ready to be sent. All I ask is that whoever wants them arranges for a courier to pick them up ( www.parcel2go.com - about £10).

Seeing as these are relatively low-value items, I'm not going to do my usual "lucky number" method of giving it away. This one is strictly first-come-first-served.

I'll take and post some better pictures later on today.

Thanks :)

Hi,

Is it possible to post a bigger pic please or a Link to it?

I would be interested on the Fork on the right pending that pic and Price ;)
Not sure also what Brakes are attached to it.

Nuno

Hi Nuno,

The fork will be for sale, as will the rest of the kit. I've pm'd you :)

Thanks

So just to clarify... You're giving everything listed away for free if someone arranges a courier to collect from you?

If so I'm interested.

Or am I too late...?

Frame & cranks

Hi, interested in the Red frame and also the cranks, can you let me know a little more when they arrive :)

Many thanks,

Jussa :)

You're too late, sorry :(

And to clarify - yes it was everything listed, but not everything pictured.

Thanks

As I've put in my original post, and the reply below it, this has now all been given away.

Thanks

Bugger. That'll teach me to work behind the scenes organising next year's Retrobike national series instead of hanging out in the for sale section...
