Just picked up my new old bike

just got my new baby marin muirwoods 1997/98 model happy as a pig in s**t i am, so onto the question what would the stem and bars be on it when bought new, had a carrera M-lite stem and bars fitted at the mo.

My Steed

My current main Steed ,17 inch Raleigh Torus XT Ti'. Ok boring plain Ti tubes, but super light at 20 pounds and fast with a compliant ride, a lot of stuff you can't see has been up specced too! like Ti axles and ceramic bearings. Ti Bottom Bracket, Ti/Alloy bolts. Need a lighter/better seatpost and a Ti stem yet. New Decal set is on the way.

that's retro all right At a guess Marins own brand kit would be fitted to it. Sorry not that much help.

Well aint that what this is all about retro bikes, once i get myself ship shape i will be trying to go more retro aswell.
