Just putting the bins out in the cold, frost and dark :? and my neighbour asked me if I wanted an old bike as he needed room for his daughters new Christmas bike 
Never one to look a gift horse in the mouth I was in his shed before he finished the sentence
I knew it wouldn't be anything decent but its better than I was expecting and will do very nicely as my new pub bike
Probably mid 90's, low end, steel framed, metallic green Diamondback Topanga 7 speed mostly STX but with Gripshift
I don't think its been out of the shed to be honest :? the rims certainly haven't been braked on :roll: looks like it could have been bought in Halfords yesterday :shock:
Made me think there must be 1000s of bikes like these sitting in sheds all over the country that have literally never been used
Think I might ride it to work this morning
