Just another bike ID inquiry

This one has me stumped and i'm hoping the RB Gurus might be able to recognize the maker.

From the fuzzy pics I can see I think a "R" on the headtube? Looks fillet brazed with TT internal rear brake routing, sleeved seat tube, and late 80's build.

Any ideas?

That seat stay arrangement is really your biggest clue. Time to start going through old catalog pics?

Sloping tt reminds me of a BC style bike, then it has a Ritchey style fastback arrangement but with a sloping tt and internal routing, and Rossin type head tube logo?

My guess is that it might be a custom frame from a small builder?

I could only hope it's an Ibis, but I suspect it might be a Research Dynamics Coyote.

Hoping to get more info today and possibly better pictures.

That is not the Rossin "R" besides most of their bikes were lugged. Likely the small builder is a good place to start, but harder to research.
