JMC Hardtail Replica...

I've been wondering about slowly doing a JMC Hardtail replica. I've never seen one before.

I pretty much wanted THAT bike back then that he had in Dirt.

Might try and do something a bit similar over time on the cheap. I'm not going to be super strict with it but we'll see.

What frame size was it? 17" or 15.5"? He had a high front end on that bike which could make a 17" look smaller.

Oh - that JMC...
I thought you meant one of these:

There's a thread already on the go - It might be the best place to start:

Good luck!

He was a tall guy, so anything would look small. Suspect it was a proper small one, though. Early-90s M2 frame shouldn't be too hard to come by, the carbon Specialized forks might be more of a challenge ;-)

He looks about 5'11"/6' to me. I've never thought of that as tall but pretty every male I've been friends with has been the same height as me so I never thought about it.

Ive always fancied doing this too... I have some parts for it already - despite the fact I dont have a frame/forks/anything at all really yet

Let me know if you need any Avid canti hangers/red or yellow gripshift covers...
