I have to say that I'm a little concerned and disappointed by the responses to mikeekim89's post. I feel that his opinions and concerns have been shown a complete lack of due respect.
Some responses come across as dismissive, patronising, puerile and insensitive.

Suicide and self harm is a very sensitive subject which does affect many people. It is especially prevalent in teenagers and young adults, for a massive range of reasons, and will have a profound and lasting effect on friends and family members.

Some may find that amusing, personally I don't.
