since having this bike, i had noticed that the steering was a little dodgy so i decided to sort it out today. not being someone who generally strips motorbikes i had a good look first and decided, yeah, i can do that, it's not any different to doing it on a downhill bike, just bigger and heavier and with cables and headlights in the way!

took a while though not to mention the hunt for a 30mm socket tool to undo the headset!

feels sweet now though, with new bars aswel, just needs a new speedo cable now and then she's finished.

it is awesome sounding!! like thunder!!! my neighbours love it at 4.45am in the morning when i come in from work!! (they are still getting punished for the fireworks scaring my dog last november! :twisted: )

since having the bike though i have found my self riding along thinking about this!

you'd be surprised at just how bad some of it is!! but i will admit i do love the bike stuff when he's blasting around.

a restored original streethawk bike was up in Keswick in a museum up until last year, i specifically stopped there to have a look at it on the way to the scottish national but unfortunately it had been sold to an american museum by the time i got there

the streethawk stuntman chris bonham was from cardiff i think he bought the bike after the series ended and then restored it.

i have also heard rumours of a movie version!
