I used to work in a building with one-way glass; in the winter when it got dark outside and we had the lights on you could see straight in from outside....

I trust they've improved this kind of thing since then :shock:

I worked in a disco effects shop in the 1970s and we made something called an Infinity Cube.

This was a square box about 12 inches by 12 inches that had a normal mirror on the back of the inside, a row of small bulbs around it and a sheet of one way glass on the front.

Great visual effect, as with the bulbs on, it looked to be about 3 feet deep.
