For sale is an older (from around 199 Independent Fabrications "Deluxe" steel hardtail mountain bike. It is a classy, lightweight, and fast bike. It has a gorgeous metallic root beer/rust paint job. The top-tube is slightly dented, but the frame is sound.

The fork is a Fox F80 RLT. The wheels are hand-built and consist of an Shimano XTR hub laced to a Mavic X517 rim in the rear, and a Shimane Deore XT laced to a mystery Mavic rim in front. It's got a XT derailleur in the rear and XTR (new) in the front. XT casette. Brakes are XTR V-brakes, levers are XTR, shifters are XT for the rear and XTR for the front. Thompson Elite stem, Syncros seatpost, Race Face crank. SDG saddle with titanium rails, mystery titanium riser handlebars. If you use Time ATAC pedals, I'll throw in a pair.

This bike lives to slay smooth singletrack such as Earl's Trails in Hadley.

This bike is for a tall/lanky person. I'm about 6'1" and it fits me well. The 130mm stem could be swapped out for something shorter, however.
