I have an imported dutch town bicycle for sale. The bike is old and has been used (by me) daily for the last 2 years since I bought it second hand.
The bike is single speed with a back pedalling brake system. It has no branding. The frame is black and the handlebars are tall and loop round quite far, it is very original and unique not like the new imitations. There is a dynamo light system attached but it is damaged and doesn't work. The frame since is large I think around 21.5/22.5 but I can re measure it to make sure.
The bike is quite rusty and the front wheel is also bent, forks twisted, as it was recently involved in a minor crash. Inner tube and tyre in this wheel however are undamaged. Both tyres and inner tubes were replaced around 6 months ago. It has a rear paneer/rack. The bike also has a lovely leather Brooks saddle, that is less than a year old and worth around £90.
The bike itself is road worthy if the front wheel was replaced, everything else runs pretty well considering the age. Am only selling it now as since the minor crash I am not confident on the road. This bike has always been the subject of a lot of attention from passers by and I have loved having it.
Ideally looking for £100 or more unless it's sold with out the saddle and then I'm happy to take much less. I can provide more photos - please note the photo doesn't show the bent wheel and the basket is not included. This would make a lovely restoration project for anyone with a little time and knowledge on old bikes
