I'm actually in Saratoga springs, to take 2 of the Serrotta fit classes. So I figured while I'm here why not look at some Saratoga made mountain bikes.

it is the 40th 853 Serotta Max but Serotta could not tell me exactly the year - probably 2000 or just after

Very well visible is the Saratoga Fat typical gloss, bright and thick paint.
