It's an IF, but I'm still puzzled why anybody would deliberately rattle can one just for the sake of making it "incognito."
 
yes, it's an IF. The "c" in the serial number stands for custom, so it would be a good idea to get complete measurements from the seller before buying it as it's not stock geometry.

Well, it probably was beat to hell, and a cheap pick-up, so rather than risk it rusting or spending money to get it done right, he did a DIY job. It happens...bet it doesn't look half-bad if he did it right, at least for rat rod/ messenger bike duties :D
 
Seller says top tube at 23 inches so 58.42 cm for us continental europe guys :wink:

seems quite long for a 43.8 cm seattube axle to top ? how come ?

or is it because it is a more modern geometry, than the old one I am accustomed to ?
how does it look to the "cognoscenti" ? :wink:
