I now know why Tintin40 rides like a startled Ferrit...

...on speed.

I just bought some handlebars from him. They are lovely. But they are clearly magic handlebars and contain the magic Tintin dust that make him dart off in the first direction he's pointed in at warp speed with little or no control and not a hope in hell of stopping him with out the aid of a tree, shrub or pothole. (or pub in Slindon).

But when fitted to my bike, they made me ride the same. All twitchy and jerky and fast.

0-9000rpm in 2.5sec didn't happen as such, but the rest was the same.

Tintin - get some wider bars! (and ones not made of plastic)

:-)

Must be these bars Gus

  look at my thinning hair line  Glad you like the bars Gus. I wouldn't have sold my 'magic' bars if i wasn't on a mission to have more retro parts.
The magic seems to have left me. Or is it 6 months not on the bike? I sure am a fat bastard now
I should have charged more for magic bars

That sure is a good action shot

8) who ever took :D

Can we have anther peaks type meet?

Its annual now Tony.

You missed the 08 and 09 ones; shame because they we're ace! Especially 09 as we rode under clear skies and 25 deg C heat 8)

Look in the meets Forum towards the end of Summer, September time IIRC for Peaks 2010
