After being made redundant when the company went into administration (even though they had full orders, blame the banks for that one!!) and then being out of work for too long, I now feel like I have my cojones back after just one week working and I am really chuffed to bits. 35hrs a week, half day Friday and 25days holiday + bank holidays, that's a cushy number!!

On another positive note, the office is 6miles away so well within bike commuting distance which has been a dream of mine for years, so when the first pay hits me at the end of the month I may be looking into building a commuter :D

Just thought i'd share that.

Good luck to anyone else out there still looking, your time will come!

Well done , It's a great feeling when you get that sense of being a real person again . Save a bit of money first , it's good to have that bit of distance from being poor .

Nice one Gav, I'm really pleased to hear things are working out for you at last.
Hope that you'll still have time to get some riding in though. :D

Nice one!

Great to hear some good news on the jobs front.

Not in a nuclear power plant I hope.

No, but we do some work for them amongst other business sectors, funny how you thought that though!

Nice one, commuting to work is great and you can feel good saving all that money from not using petrol which is frankly f**king waaaay too expensive now.
