been in bed since monday afternoon with what docs describe as a 'virus'

hmmm....


supposed to be going to a stag do down in brighton this weekend. was gonna take the finished GT for a run in along the south downs way too.

Instead, I'm under two duvets shivering like a yorkshire whippit.

I didnt even unwrap the NOS 8spd XT cassette that arrived tuesday

yep totally agree, illness is the skid in a tramps worn out pants!

feeling a bit crap myself so i have every sympathy!

got tomorrow off so i can chill out for a bit, i'll go for an easy spin in the afternoon if i can convince myself that it won't do me in!

Could be worse, I had a perineal abscess removed on th 27th March. District nurse every day to pack the wound and obviously NO cycling until I am healed, another month at least. If only the weather was better, being off work and all!

I've been off with a bad back for four weeks - Should be fit for work again next week but my doctor has advised against riding for a few more weeks after that
