I had a Car Boot Sale dream that came true..nearly!

Dunno why, as I hardly frequent them, but in the night I decided to go to our local Car Boot Sale the next morning convinced that I would find an Explosif or something up for (cheap) grabs :roll:
And would you Adam and Eve it...there, resting against a bonnet...an original though tatty Kona Explosif....mid-90's :?: Sort of plum colour with the spiral head-tube logo, Ritchey canti's etc.

Car boot sales can be good for stuff, a mate got a good nick late 90's Specialized Rockhopper frame & forks for a fiver, had the manuals and receipt too!!

I've had a few good finds from boot sales.....

Shimano Deore LX hubs on Mavic M231 rims (unsued) £2
Specialized Umma Gumma tyres £1 each
Shimano Deore DX Thumbshifters £1
Hope Steel Skewers £1
Oakley Sub Zeros 50p

Bought a NOS pair of Rocket Power Parts Scary Fast gloves for £2 last week, my old Super B's got a hole in them the week before that....spooky!

No Explosif frames yet.......
